COMPOSITE MONOCOQUE REPAIR TECHNICIAN – AUTOMOTIVE / MOTORSPORT INDUSTRY

A leading Top Class car manufacturer whose Head Quarter is based in Emilia Romagna, Italy, is currently looking for a

COMPOSITE REPAIR TECHNICIAN
for an exciting job opportunity within Automotive / MotorSport field

After an intense technical training on basicadvanced composite repair strategies the selected candidate will become expert in repairing carbon fibre monocoques taking care on customer repairing requests.

He/she will be responsible for the following activities:
giving support in order to analyseidentify the right monocoque repairing procedure depending on the damage
preparing flying case with the required materials, equipmenttools accordingly to the specific repair procedure to be shipped to the repairing location
travelling to the repairing location worldwide
doing materials & location check in the onsite workshop
checking the vehicle status
delivering monocoque repairing operations accordingly to predicted rules / instructions
preparing a repair report e.g. filling formsdocuments, making photos
collecting customer signature in order to successfullythe repairing mission.

The ideal candidate has worked as Composite/Carbon Fibre Technician within an Aerospace / Aeronautical / Automotive company for at least five years. He/she has a strong knowledgeexperience in laminating, trimming, fitting, vaccum bagging, scarfingrepairing of composite structures.

Other essential requirements are a fluent knowledge of english language writtenspokena strong ability to quickly understand, manageorganize taskspriorities, working both autonomouslyin a teamperforming an openconstructive communication with internal/external stakeholders.

Availability to frequent travels for business trips whose average length may be between 714 days is mandatory.
